Welcome to THE SUNDEW CENTRE!
This website is under construction - this page is just a "placeholder" until
the main site is live (hopefully around mid- to late-2006 for the initial version).
"Hover" your mouse pointer over the photos above to see the species names and descriptions.
The Sundew Centre will aim to document all Sundew (Drosera) species and hybrids, provide
comprehensive information on the ecology of these wonderful plants, and also provide an exhaustive
resourse for growers (including plentiful information on cultivation, propagation, etc). It will
also aim to encourage and promote the conservation of these plants and their rapidly-diminishing
habitats.
The site will cover all members of the Sundew Family (Droseraceae), i.e. Sundews (Drosera) along
with the single-species genera; the Venus Flytrap (Dionaea) and Waterwheel Plant (Aldrovanda).
Please call back in a few months, when hopefully the site will be up and running!
In the meantime, please browse some of the links at the bottom of this page for more information and
resources on Sundews (and other Carnivorous Plants). Best wishes and good growing!
